Agility & Quickness
Agility and Quickness are essential components of fitness for any sporting activity, but even more important, skills that transfer over to everyday functional movement. Our brains ability to process information quickly, to respond and react to any given situation is a skill that can be trained and improved regardless of ability level. Once we train and rehearse similar movements over and over, that movement becomes a learned response resulting in better agility and change of directions as well as more efficient faster moves.

Skipping ropes help our timing and coordination with faster footwork and greater aerobic fitness.

Micro hurdles, ladders, agility cones and markers allow us to rehearse movement patterns in and around obstacles, creating fast and explosive footwork.

Reaction balls help us to read changes in directions and sharpen our minds as well as our feet, creating fluent and balanced movement.

QPEC are happy to advise on these and other tools for athletes wanting to incorporate or maximize agility and quickness training as part of their workouts.
